Pootling along

Goodness me, what an age it's been since I last posted on here. So much has happend in the past 5 weeks and Torin has changed a LOT. Even overnight things happen e.g. yesterday she couldn't sit against Roh and hold her head and today she can. Just amazing.

Feeding has been a challenge, but we're perservering and seem to be doing OK. Torin is growing like a weed - a fat weed as she piles on the ounces - so we must be doing something right. The odd time Torin's choked and then fallen asleep has been quite scary. So too was the time we wrapped her in a blue fleece and it reflected on her face, so we thought she'd stopped breathing... but even with our exponential learning curve and mistakes the lass is thriving and such a total delight to be with.

We're masters at changing Terry Nappies, we've had first smiles, a roll-over (not in a Terry) and she really enjoys lying naked on the change table, having a kick before a bath or just when being changed. The 2+m measured projectile poo was quite amusing and we've taken safety measures in case it happens again.

Andy has been and gone and today we also popped Brenda (Roh's mum) on a plane to Australia. Next up is my mummy, who arrives on Monday to play with granddaughter #3 and this weekend the tree will go up.

It was the BioWare Kids Christmas Party on the weekend (great idea) and Torin was very well behaved. OK, she slept and ate. Can you tell how impressed she was at meeting Santa?
