let's look out of the triangle window to see which pregnancy symptom I'll have today...

Some days it really does feel like Play School and scarily there are many days when I do read Babycentre.ca or one of my many pregnancy books and am spot on. Equally, there are so many things that could happen, or could be much more extreme. Generally, I'm just bimbling along and having fun.

The very nature of being pregnant does do my head in though. OK, so I can see and tell my belly grew 1/2 an inch last week (37.5 round the belly button - still an innie - and 38.5 round my hips) but it's all going on behind the walls of my tummy. I think we should be made like washing machines, with a glass viewing section to find out what baby's up to.

There was quite a bit of wailing and gnashing of teeth this week. Sadly mummy brain really really managed to floor me. Losing my wallet in Calgary clearly wasn't sufficient enough of a headache. I had a lovely couple of days in Kelowna and realised, very belatedly (Monday morning) that I seemed to have left the sapphire earrings Roh had made for me for our wedding, behind at the hotel. Sadly, they were never found and I'm still on a hotline to St's Anthony and Nicholas. Every room I'm in at home, I stop and think 'did I take them off in here or was I really silly enough to leave them in Kelowna?' Oh well. Still, at least travelling has now stopped.

That said, a book I lent to a friend that I thought I'd never see again, turned up in the mail on Monday and when Waldi (Brenda's cat went missing) on Friday he was fortunately found on Saturday. So something is getting through!

All in all, it was a bit of an emotional week for us anyway, Monday would have been Daddy's birthday and Friday was Gordon's 3 year anniversary.
