It's been kinda warm these past few days, we even almost reached a record high yesterday - 35.5 C. however, I'm not sure where they do the measuring as my car registered 37C on my way home :S
So we moved the bedroom downstairs into the lounge on Saturday and will see if we can brave upstairs tonight. It only reached 27C today so all should be good.
Stupidly enough there are warnings of potential frost in Fort McMurray later this week, which is not hugely far north (in the grand scheme of things).
The topsoil has now been laid in the garden and we're hoping it will all be approved for drainage fairly soon. It's not exactly an easy process to follow - there's quite a lot of assumption that you'll know how to fill in the gaps. Luckily between us and our neighbours we've pieced together most of the pieces (we hope).
Other than that, I'm suffering from being totally distracted and have managed to lose the earrings Roh gave me for our wedding. I'm not impressed as mummy brain was one of my biggest worries about getting pregnant. Apparently (through a study in rats) womens brains shrink during pregnancy... but rats who've had babies find it easier to learn after than rats who haven't at the same age. Or something like that. Now if only I could remember where I saw that article...
