Beautiful Bowen Island

What an idyllic place for a Work Retreat - Bowen Island! Gem of isles just 20 minutes off the BC coast.

Heading over from Horseshoe Bay to Snug Cover - what fantastic names.

Our Marketing Director had set up a retreat for her team, and a few of us corporate folks got to go along for input and also understanding about how we could support and get to know the Marketing Team. It was a great event, team building extraordinare!

This is us just off for our early morning exercise, led by Leah and Tasha (far left and next in). Raynett was miffed for being the smallest in the group so we gave her some extra leverage. Check out the view too, not a bad spot to wake up in the morning!

Team Purple! We were sent off on a scavenger/ adventure hunt, as much about team building and colloboration as winning. I have to say that, we got the instructions wrong and were disqualified. But the Orange team 'followed' us in our mistake and were also disqualified. Ooops!

Raynette, Sabrina and Kathy and another fantastic view.

I'd been away since Tuesday with work so I was glad to hop on the flight on Saturday morning and head back home. We've still lots of packing and sorting out to do (5 days to the house move). We also had to say farewell to Isis and Tim who are deserting us and heading back to the UK.
