It was Edmonton's dragon boat race this weekend, and we couldn't have picked a more glorious weekend for it. I'm kidding, it was pretty crappy english weather and our first weeked of fog. Unfortunately it started out kinda dry and damp and ended up incredibly drizzly. Still, we braved the elements to cheer on our team!
It was fun though they're kinda crazy. In the morning the boats were running around 1hour late, so folks headed off for lunch to arrive on time for race 2 - only they were now 30 minutes ahead of schedule. Ooops.
Luckily some nice chaps and chapesses helped us out and there was a win. Today started at 8:30 am and I am not that dedicated. And it was foggy too, our first foggy day! I was with them in spirit :o)
