and that was at 9am yesterday morning. By then I'd attempted to weed the garden but the pesky weeds here really believe in growing ultra long roots. I was digging for India (seeing as Australia is no longer directly below us) and gave up.The 'man' is supposed to come round on Tuesday to do the top soil, so hopefully we'll be ready to start our grass seed sewing next weekend. The plan here is what we are going to do with our front garden, and our neighbours next door are doing the same things.
The dark grey bit will be stone, with some shrubs/ bushes interspersed along the side. Hopefully it will work. The worrying thing is that the temporary garden centres at the local supermarkets all seem to be closed for the season. Summer's hardly begun... I guess we've still a bit to learn!
