It was Casey's birthday dinner last night, and I have to admit I probably wasn't the best person to invite... Dinner was at 8:30 (Christel's comment - oho, bed time for mummy to be). I wasn't quite that bad but I did have to eat before we went out. The bread roll I had there was very tasty ;o) It was really nice to go.
I also ended up playing musical chairs a few times. Vat and Ramile were eating calamari for starters and the smell was so strong... Mike didn't seem to mind switching so I didn't vomit. Then we swapped again for mains as Martha was having calamari. Still, meant I got to see a few different faces.
Of course I was up for helping demolish the chocolate cheese cake.
It was quite random, we left the restaurant and bumped into 2 different groups of BioWare people on the corner of the street. I guess it just made me feel old when they were all wandering down to the pub (as close as you can get in Canada anyway) and I was ready for my bed. Roh was given the option to stay out but he escorted me home :)
