Also known as 'a salute to Roh and my friends'...
So at 3am last night I experience back cramps for the first time ever . Let me tell you, excruciating pain sounds about right. Eventually I wake Roh up, begging for a back rub. Not a single word of complaint does he offer, just asks for the moisturiser and proceeds to ease my poor back. What a hero.
At work today, Elaine points out there's a 'Tornado Warning' on the way and decides to tell us about THE tornado of 20 years ago that devastated Edmonton. Great. I'm thinking, well, we'll see how we go. Baby has other thoughts on his/her mind. A thunderstorm starts and I'm given the choice between bursting into tears and a panic attack. Seriously, my body goes into complete panic mode while I'm sitting there. Two thumps in the tummy later (not the delicate little flutters I've been experiencing recently, but 2 real thumps) and I realise baby is getting in on the distressed mummy act. So much for dinner out with Greg and Jodie. Bless Tasha for driving me home.
But, I''m home safe and tonight it's pizza for T and the Sound of Music...
