Apparently Indy didn't like his new harness and part of the time spent inside was to accustom him to it - initially he kept falling over every time he tried to walk. Mustn't laugh. With the harness tied to Roh's belt, we set about weeding. Indy sitting wailing at us and sniffing the air (note: when he's being held by Roh and does this, he looks like Salacious Crumb).
Indy finally sorts himself out and goes for a walk, straight over the mud pile by our neighbours house. He has about 3m of string, so can explore quite a way, though he's quickly at the end of his reins. Can you guess what happened next?
With a little shake, the harness falls away and Indy is off! I got up too quickly and got a pull in my tummy. So Roh's caught between chasing the cat and checking up on me. Luckily Indy doesn't really know the area, and for all his bravado he stopped fairly quickly to check his bearings, was caught and returned to the safety of the kitchen. I was fine too.
So Indy will have to wait for the cat run to be built before he gets his next, unsupervised, trip outside.
