It's the Final Countdown

omg, 3 weeks and 5 days to go...

We got our marriage license yesterday - filled out a form and had to hope I'd rememberd mummy and daddy's places of birth correctly. Which I did - phew. Having to explain that Surrey was not the city in B.C. was amusing.

Then we had to swear we were telling the truth.

Raising your right hand, standing in an open office behind a counter 'swearing' to a young lady in alice band, jeans and a pink tight top really wasn't quite what I'd imagined, but it did the job. I had a few excited butterflies about it all and am trying not to worry about how little time is left, but it really is all under control.

We met Bev tonight (marriage commisioner) and she was also very lovely. We have added some personal touches to the ceremony and are just both very excited about it all.
