bzzzz bzzzz bzzzz bzzzz, buzy bee, buzy bee

So much to do and so little time. Tonight I had to dash home from work to get Bracken his food before the vet closed. What a shame the vet is situated right by the book shop - it made stocking up for the trip to SF really easy :) Now to book a taxi for 6am :(

Colds galore are ripping through the offices and many people are on a recurrent treadmill of congestion and sore throats. Kate kindly brought hers with her from Vancouver but I am resiting with Eccienacea (sp) and vitamin C.

We've found a fantastic cat sitter who gives Bracken his injections. The fickle cat has outgrown his skulking and not eating when Rohan is away and his stand-offish nature now that he's getting wet food and a treat every morning. Still, at least he is putting on weight and doesn't hide under the bed every morning when it's time for his jab. He's also getting good at eating his food and Indys and will soon be a porker.

Edmonton has now turned a dirty brown with two consequetive days of 7 degrees plus. They grit the roads here as its too cold for salt. What that means is the snow mountains are really mud mountains. A mum's nightmare and a child's delight. The roads are also a complete state, with the 30 degree difference in temparature on occasion there are pot holes absolutly everywhere. Bring back the ice to make a smooth surface, or would adding latex to the mix help?
