So Thursday night was Chick Flick night and Isis and I trundled off to see The Holiday (http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/theholiday/index.html). Very much a Rom Com but filmed in Shere, Godalming and at Clandon House (& LA) so plenty of opportunity for me to reminisce about driving down twisty country lanes and visiting twee little shops. Ahhh....
The Canadian's seemed to love our English countryside and the country cottages, though for me the spattering of snow made it slightly less than authentic. Still, home is always home.
Surprisingly enough I am not distraught with home sickness but it was a good trip down memory lane and a fun way to spend the evening.
