I am amazed at how perfect you are, how beautiful and awesome. Amazed that we made you and you are here with us. I love you completely and utterly and have just spent a gorgeous time playing with you, seeing you smile and getting you to laugh. You are so so cute when you laugh, trying to get the sound out so hard and having so much fun. Who'd have thought we'd laugh most on your change table?
And then you needed to sleep, so I wrapped you in your furry blanket - so like the one I had as a baby - and we cuddled and cuddled and I was lost in the love I have for you. We are so blessed to have you here with us and as a New Year starts, I look forward to the times we will share.
I am blessed to have your daddy too, he is just such a wonderful man who loves us both. A very wise and wonderful friend, Aleda, once told me that my love for my family would grow exponentially with each life event. How right she was.
We are blessed by the love of our family - your grandfathers, grandmother's, uncles, aunts, cousins, great-relatives - all have made today and tomorrow possible. So too our friends.
I wish that with each year you gain more than you lose in life, love and happiness.
