My tummy went from 32 to 33 inches in a week, with hip measurement up a 1/2 inch too. I think it's really obvious that I'm pregnant ,but I know in the right clothes it doesn't really show.
It was fun being in Vancouver this week, the weather was variable, as always, but very green. Flying into the airport was akin to flying into Zambia - flat and lush vegitation. No coconut trees though. Similarity ended there (unsurprisingly).
Nap time is becoming much more of a requirement, at least at the weekends. I think my body knows it can stop then as I survived a 13 hour work day (well, I kipped on the plane and in the H&S room in the afternoon - fabulous invention!) and still had energy for dinner with Abbie.
Kate took me to another marvellous restaurant, Tapastree, at the end of Robson street. I can't recommend it enough, even for a fussy eater like me.
So, this weekend I've been making baby blankets and a nappy bag. I've nearly finished. You can't see the section of pins where I still need to sew up the sides. Once I had a template the blankets were 'quite' easy to do, not sure I'll ever make another nappy bag though :)
