Snow in Blighty, again?

Wow, it looks like real snow has finally arrived at home. I hope it clears up in a few weeks so I can get home.

What is even more freaky is that we also had a huge dump of snow - white out conditions - on Saturday morning. To the point where I couldn't see the huge Ikea sign from the side of the road, about 20m away.

Silly me had a haircut and didn't quite realise how bad it was. To get into Downtown there's a small hill to climb (1:45). My automatic beetle struggled to find the right gear, meanwhile, out of 3 lanes some fool in a red car decided mine was the only lane to be in. They moved pretty quickly when I stuck my hazard lights on. I didn't quite go backward, but I was not going forward very fast. Big relief at the top, baby wasn't too impressed when I got back in the car to go home, I think I'm forgiven now though.
